Winter is approaching in the southern hemisphere and as we have the occasional chilly autumn mornings lately, I have turned my thoughts towards clothing J in colder climates. I am not a seamstress and have very basic sewing skills. Mr. Husband, bought me a sewing machine and so I decided it was time to use it.
I decided to try making some pj pants. I had no idea where to start, so I did what everyone does when they want to know how to do something - google it. I found this great tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj_crFQgBv4 that helped guide me along. I used it in combo with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_403WEtMeoo. Both are great and I felt ready to conquer the pjs after watching them. J chose the fabric in a spotlight sale. I approved of the feathers, she liked the pink. I quickly whipped these up and was literally putting on the finishing touches as she was laying down to bed. She was so excited to wear her new comfy pjs. The print is awesome and the cuffs will give these pjs heaps more wear, as I can roll them down as she grows. Win, win for
